A remembrance was held on August 11, 2013. Spirit of 45 Day was created to honor the sacrifices of our WWII veteran's, the countless number of American that supported at home and 448,000 American's that made the ultimate sacrifice and did not return home.

We had a wonderful turn out. Honor flight San Diego would like to thank Dan DeMarco, Will Hays and the entire staff of the Veteran's Memorial and Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego. They organized a wonderful event.

Donna Hester did a wonderful job organizing HFSD's participation.
