Jim Woods, Navy Seal (ret) jumped with a 1500 Sq. Ft. American Flag as a special salute to our 88 WWII Veterans as our US Airways charter flight passed by on our final approach into San Diego Lindberg Field. The flag was visible from the aircraft. The honored WWII veterans, guardians and trip leadership broke into applause as we witnessed the giant American Flag tribute.
Many thanks go to Dave Walker and Jim Woods for making this possible. Countless weeks went in the planning and execution of this special acknowledgement to our WWII hero’s.
