Honor Flight San Diego was honored to share an entry in the 2013 Veterans Day Parade with the Spirit of 45, San Diego Girl Scouts and the Spring Valley Middle School Band - “Spirit of 45 Band”.
The Girl Scouts carried 1945 era photos of San Diego WWII veterans. Our WWII Veterans and Guardians rode in the parade on patriotically decorated Old Town Trolley and the Spirit of 45 Band donned their new Spirit of 45 Uniforms.
Harbor Drive was lined by several thousand patriotic parade goers, including many young children. A wonderful day was had by all.
